Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient with ERP software and MS Office applications.
• Experience operating inspection equipment such as CMM and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and machinery with supervision.
• Adhere to safety rules and quality standards.
• Read travelers and manufacturing documentation accurately.
• Edit programs with Level III or higher for accuracy.
• Perform mechanical and visual inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and perform basic machine maintenance.

• Support supervisor with additional tasks as needed.

Are you a CNC Mill Machinist I, who specializes in looking for a family founded company that invests in technology (equipment & software) for customers in the Aerospace, Medical Device, Automotive, Semiconductor, Computer, and general manufacturing industries.

P&F Machining, Inc., in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking CNC Mill Machinist I, for our second shift, that will produce product to P&F standards and customer specifications. Second Shift:

• Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 3:00 am
• Shift Differential
• One Week Additional PTO

Essential Functions:

• Operate forklift.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Comply to all quality policies and goals.
• Able to read and follow job travelers and other manufacturing documentation.
• Operate machines and make offsets with supervision from Level II or higher mahinists.
• Edit programs with Level III or higher verifying accuracy.
• Perform mechanical inspection of parts and materials using micrometers, calipers, thread gages and pin gages for feature of size characteristics.
• Perform visual inspections of parts and materials using unaided eye and magnification.
• Ensure segregation, identification and reporting of non-conforming product.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate understanding of GD&T.
• Follow documented procedures and standards.
• Interpret feature of size requirements on blueprints.
• Effective user of ERP system and Microsoft Office software.
• Operate CMM and other automated inspection equipment with direction.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and accurately perform duties while meeting productivity expectations.
• Ability to work independently and accurately perform duties in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Education:

High school diploma required.

Background:

2 to 5 years of manufacturing machining experience.
