What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist

• Perform complex setups and operate mills, lathes, and/or routers to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, shop orders, and specifications
• Determine machining sequences and evaluate new tooling and machining processes
• Identify deviations or issues that could interrupt productivity
• Perform first-article inspections when necessary
• Maintain required logs and production documentation
• Assist team members with machining problems and troubleshooting

What You Need to Bring to the CNC Machinist Role

• Associate degree or equivalent experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
• 3+ years of manufacturing or related work experience
• Solid understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts
• Ability to handle fragile products, perform repetitive tasks, and follow safe work practices
• Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
