Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a strong focus on machine setup, tooling preparation, and production readiness. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and preparing CNC mill machines for production runs, including installing tools and fixtures, loading programs, adjusting work and tool offsets, and verifying first-piece quality.

The ideal candidate can independently perform machine setups, troubleshoot setup-related issues, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently while meeting quality and production requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred.
• Previous experience setting up and operating CNC mill machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, setup sheets, and machining instructions.
• Working knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, tool offsets, work coordinates, and CNC machine operation.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and verifying dimensional tolerances.
• Understanding of machining processes, materials, cutting conditions, and tooling selection.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to quality and safety.
• Excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Self-Motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Works well in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
