Are you ready to produce precision parts that change lives around the world every day? We’re hiring Mill Machine Operators for a premier orthopedic implant manufacturer in Fort Wayne, IN. These are Direct Hire positions — meaning you’ll be hired directly by our client and become a key part of their growing team.

What’s in it for you?

• Direct Hire – Join the team as a permanent employee from day one
• Flexible Shift Options:
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Monday–Friday)
• 3rd shift: 10:30pm – 7:00am (Sunday–Thursday)
• Competitive Pay: Up to $28/hr. based on experience
• Shift Premium: Additional 10% for 2nd & 3rd shifts
• Earning Potential: With overtime, potential to make up to $80,000 per year
• Weekly hours: Expect 45–50 hours (overtime available)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate and maintain milling machines with a focus on quality and safety
• Inspect parts throughout the process to ensure they meet specs
• Set up workpieces using sine bars, chucks, and fixtures
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow quality procedures (ISO 13485, FDA, OSHA standards)
• Lift up to 35+ lbs occasionally and stand for 6+ hours per shift
• Work overtime as needed to meet delivery goals

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of Mill CNC operation experience
• Must have 5-axis machining experience
• Strong background in mill machining
• High school diploma or GED
• Skilled with precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, sine bars)
• Understanding of steel alloys and machining properties
