Responsibilities

• Manage multiple machines simultaneously
• Operate CNC machines proficiently
• Oversee setup and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 6 years of machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 5 years of CNC experience or as a journeyman machinist
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints
• Experience working with small precision parts to very close tolerances
• Proficiency with basic inspection tools and techniques
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and a good understanding of shop math
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• CNC Lathe and/or Mills

Physical Requirements

• Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently; ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects; standing for 8+ hours per day
• Work conditions: subject to noise, vibration, coolants, and oils
