Position: CNC Machinist - Permanent hire

Background: Aerospace or Metals

• Operates CNC lathes to produce metallic components; sizes range from 2-inch diameter/short length to 20-inch diameter/long length.
• Uses instruments, gauges, and shop tools to verify operational drawing requirements and part conformance.
• Reads and understands basic technical drawings to produce parts meeting specifications.
• Adjusts machine offsets to ensure part conformance.
• Uses indexable cutting tools to ensure proper edges.
• Responsible for maintaining lot traceability and accountability.
• Measures and documents dimensions during operations and maintains appropriate machining records.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Works independently with minimal supervision from senior personnel.
• Follows company processes and procedures to comply with ISO and AS9100 standards.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of general CNC work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic machining principles and GD&T.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and gauges for proper setups and operations.
