Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist/programmer required.
• Familiarity with Heidenhein and Fanuc controls is a plus.

Job description

Summary:

Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor as a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will work closely in Production. The successful candidate must be willing to multitask and cross-train on all machines within the cell, as required. This position is a day shift position.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Perform own set-ups by positioning and aligning tooling per set-up instructions using CNC Machines.
2. Maintain tolerances by observing operation and making necessary machine offset adjustments, cutter changes and self-inspection.
3. Document actions in support of quality logs, communicate all discrepancies in machining to supervision and share updates as required.
4. Perform work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets and drawings.
5. Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 5 axis CNC machinist / programmer
2. Min 5 years experience
3. 40 hours a week Mon - Fri
4. Familiarity with Heidenhein controls DMG DMU machines a plus
5. Okuma machines
6. Fanuc controls a plus
7. Autodesk Fusion 360 Programming familiarity
8. Open Mind Hypermill Programming familiarity

Salary Range: $30-32/hr for Machinist & $35-37/hr for Programmers
