Computer Hardware Test Technician - 1st Shift

This role is primarily onsite at an HPE office.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work 1st shift, from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Typically an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, with 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Highly experienced individuals without a degree or with degrees in unrelated fields may also qualify.
  • Working knowledge of electronics technology.
  • Must be a US Citizen
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in electronics technology and computer hardware.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to use online resources and work instructions to diagnose hardware issues at the system level.
  • Experience in replacing server components such as processors, DIMMs, PCA boards, cables, heat sinks, etc.
  • Familiarity with various computer applications and software navigation.
  • Understanding of technical and general aspects of the role.
  • Ability to handle complex assignments, solve problems independently, and provide input for process improvements.
  • Effective communication of system statuses verbally and in reports.
  • Collaboration with engineers, technicians, and field personnel on system issues.
  • Knowledge of installing software components.
