About the Opportunity

We are seeking a mid-level Structural Designer/Engineer with strong expertise in BIM-driven structural design and industrialized construction, particularly light-gauge steel / Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) framing systems.

This role sits at the intersection of structural engineering, BIM modeling, digital fabrication, and manufacturing. You will help transform architectural BIM models into fabrication-ready designs using Autodesk Revit and Vertex BD, supporting panelization, automated framing, structural analysis, and manufacturing outputs.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 3-7 years of professional experience in structural engineering/design with a strong BIM focus.
• Proven experience with Vertex BD and/or Revit; Vertex BD is mandatory for this position.
• Hands-on experience with CFS/light-gauge steel framing systems.
• Experience supporting projects from conceptual design through fabrication/manufacturing.
• Exposure to industrialized, modular, panelized, or offsite construction is highly desirable.
• Experience with innovation, automation, digital transformation, pilot programs, or new product/system development.
• Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment where requirements may evolve.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to engineering, manufacturing, and production teams.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with 1-3 years of experience, OR
• 3-year degree in CAD Design with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree is desirable but not required.
