Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to operate CT equipment in Tulsa, OK on a 13-week, onsite contract. The project runs 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (Thu/Fri/Sat with every other Wednesday) and starts 10/26/2026.

You will perform diagnostic CT exams, prep and position patients, evaluate imaging quality, and work with PACS and EPIC/TEC systems. The ideal candidate has ARRT-R, BLS, and at least five years CT experience, plus strong radiation safety and patient

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT-R certification and BLS required.
• Minimum 5 years CT experience with Client, EPIC and TEC.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT examinations according to policies and protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures.
• Evaluates CT studies for quality and completeness.
• Uses 3D rendering, reformations and reconstructions as needed.
• Sends images to PACS and verifies exams in a timely manner.
• Maintains radiation safety for patients, staff, and family members.

$1,267 weekly stipends $30/hour $1,080 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 10/26/2026 13 weeks

Position: CT Tech
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift:Thurs/ Fri/ Sat e/o W 7a-7p
Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hrs/week

Job Summary:

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to process cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic CT examinations according to the department's policies and protocols.
• Includes screening, preparing, and positioning patient for CT procedures with reference to diagnoses and body part.
• Knowledgeable of all CT equipment including the laser camera.
• Evaluates CT studies for quality and completeness.
• Ability to utilize advanced image manipulations such as 3D rendering, reformation and reconstruction.
• Understands image display and filming options.
• Recognizes and rectifies CT imaging and filming problems.
• Sends images to PACS system, evaluates exam for completeness, and verifies exam in timely manner.
• Develops a working knowledge of all PACS capabilities.
• Maintains accurate documentation on logbook worksheet and charging of examination and all supplies.
• Appropriately administers contrast media as directed by Radiologist.
• Maintains radiation safety for patients, staff, and family members of patients.
• Is responsive to patient physical and psychological needs.
• Keeps patient informed.
• Explains all procedures in a clear and concise manner without causing unnecessary anxiety.
• Listens to and answers patient questions with patience and courtesy.
• Seeks advice from appropriate resource when unsure of protocol or policy.
• Maintains a clean and appropriately supplied work area.
• Independent judgments in planning the sequence of operations and making decisions in a complex technical field.
• Works directly with patients and/or customers.
• Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
• Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
• Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.

Must Have

• Minimum 5 years CT experience, Client, EPIC, TEC

Required Skills & Experience:

• Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.

Nice To Have

• Level 1

Required Education:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Required Certification & Licensure:

• Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
• BLS
