Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist for a 13-week onsite contract in Milwaukee, WI. The shift is a 12-hour day schedule (3 days per week) with detailed imaging responsibilities and standard CT protocols.

Required credentials include ARRT-CT and BLS, plus 2–3 years CT experience. EPIC charting is used; free parking is available on site.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• 2-3 years CT experience minimum; traveler options require 2-3 years minimum.

Responsibilities

• General CT imaging in a hospital setting.
• Perform CT studies on specified patient types and protocols.
• Operate Client Revolution and Evo CT equipment (preferred).

General Information

• Scanners: 5
• Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience: No, 2-3 years minimum
• Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
• Inpatient/Outpatient/ER: some peds (experience not needed), approximately 2-3 a month, usually teenagers; general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, head
• Procedural: biopsies, drains

Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT

Skills required

• General CT experience from a hospital setting, experience with the above patient types, experience with Client equipment (Client Revolution and Evo - preferred)

Support on the Unit:

• Other CT techs
• RRT, Code Blue team
• Centralized transport

Charting System: EPIC

Floating: If yes, where: None

Orientation: (facility and unit) 3 shifts to learn the flow

Scheduling:

• Will they be on call: If so, what is that schedule: No call
• Approval of time off: N/A
• AAH adheres to a "fatigue policy" where all staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts
