Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel CT Scan Tech in Poplar Bluff, MO for a 13-week onsite contract starting 10/12/2026. The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT imaging under radiologist supervision, including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and OR imaging as required.

ARRT CT certification is required, with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The role requires nights, Wed/Thu/Fri 4:30 pm–6:00 am, on-call one day per week, and active state radiographer licensing.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required; graduate of an AMA-accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience in clinical setting.
• Licensed as a general radiographer in the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging under Radiologist supervision.
• Conduct CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and OR imaging.
• Operate fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm, and related CT systems.

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
