Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY TECH to operate CT equipment and perform imaging procedures including radiography and fluoroscopy. You will assess and plan patient care, and produce reformatted CT images for radiologist interpretation.

Required certifications include ARRT, state RT license for CA, BLS, fluoroscopy license when applicable, and venipuncture/IV certification. Strong attention to confidentiality and equipment maintenance are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred for Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) certification required.
• Radiologic Technologist license in CA required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA when fluoroscopy is used.
• Venipuncture/IV certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Transfers images through PACS and teleradiology systems.
• Maintains patient records, files, and billing information.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality.
• Performs equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Manages imaging supply inventory.

Education & Experience

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) certification (Required)
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in state of practice (Required in CA)
• Advanced CT certification (Required in OR/HI, Preferred in CA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Fluoroscopy license (Required in CA when operating fluoroscopy equipment)
• Venipuncture/IV certification (Required)
