Job summary

Megaport is seeking a senior Compute Solutions Architect to lead the Latitude compute team and personally drive technical engagements with strategic customers in the SF Bay Area. You will hire, coach, and scale a global, hybrid team while maintaining hands-on involvement in architecture and deals.

You will design reference architectures, sizing models, and POC playbooks, partnering with sales and partners to accelerate compute-enabled connectivity solutions across Latitude and Megaport.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical customer-facing role (e.g. Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar).
• 3+ years leading or mentoring a technical pre-sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Latitude Compute Solutions Architecture team — hiring, ramp, coverage, career paths, and performance.
• Personally lead compute discovery, architecture design, sizing, and performance mapping for strategic opportunities.
• Deliver demos, workshops, and proofs of concept; defend choices with customer engineers.
• Own architectural motion in Latitude+Megaport integration and collaborate with Sales Pods and partner channels.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to relay feedback and influence roadmap direction.
• Travel ~30% and base in SF Bay Area or relocate as needed.
