Primary is hiring a Community & Content Manager focused on Compute to grow the audience and community around The Compute 100 among the founders, engineers, researchers and investors who are shaping this field. This role sits on the marketing team and works directly with our Compute investment pod, with a particular focus on its San Francisco initiatives.

You will own the tactics, plan events, build the content, and cultivate relationships with the startups and researchers who define compute

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years in content, editorial, community or events roles.
• Genuine fluency in AI infrastructure and compute topics.
• Active network in San Francisco with growth potential.
• Strong writing and editorial instincts to shape perspectives.
• Experience building audiences via X, newsletters and podcasts.
• Experience planning and running in-person events from concept to follow-up.
• Ability to move between strategic recommendations and tactical activation.
• Exceptional organizational skills for timelines and dependencies.

Responsabilités

• Stay engaged in AI infrastructure; track companies, investments and conversations.
• Write and ship content across X, LinkedIn, and newsletters to grow Compute 100.
• Turn conversations and events into sharp content across formats and channels.
• Develop informed market perspectives and identify missing discussions.
• Coordinate podcast production details; guest sourcing and editorial prep.
• Plan and run in-person Bay Area events; manage guest lists and venues.
• Build relationships with founders, engineers, researchers shaping compute.
• Maintain content and event calendars; ensure workstreams stay moving.
• Collaborate with marketing on messaging and with Compute pod on strategy.
