Beaver Country Day School, Inc. is seeking a Computational Thinking Teacher & Educational Technology Specialist to advance CT/CS/AI in the Middle and Upper School. You will lead courses, workshops, and cross-disciplinary projects, building on a culture of inquiry and authentic learning.

You will collaborate with the Research + Design Team and school leadership to shape a technology-centered curriculum that emphasizes ethical AI, hands-on exploration, and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject area; Master’s in CS or Educational Technology strongly preferred.
• Ability to teach CT/CS/AI and integrate EdTech into a diverse middle and upper school.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and hands-on experiential learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach computational thinking, CS and AI classes and lead workshops/professional development.
• Develop new CT/CS/AI courses and interdisciplinary applications.
• Collaborate with leadership to define CS/CT/AI/EdTech goals and support teachers.
• Advising, student projects, and participation in Research + Design activities.
