We are seeking a Computational Linguist to join our Solution Delivery team. You will be part of a talented software team that delivers the latest in Conversational AI and Virtual Agent technologies, bringing advanced voice and chat driven solutions to enterprises across the world.

Training and Technologies

As part of that team, you will be trained on Omilia’s NLU platform and gain an understanding of all technologies involved in enabling conversational, omni-channel human-system interactions.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers to analyse and understand business requirements.
• Designing applications in line with usability principles and business needs.
• Implementing and testing semantic models and conversation flows using machine learning and rule-based techniques.
• Analyzing real-life human-system dialogs, assessing system performance, and identifying improvements.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Academic Degree in Computational Linguistics, NLP, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong command of Spanish.
• Junior programming knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills; customer-facing.
• Ambition, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, analytical and creative thinking, attention to detail.
• Well organized for team and solo tasks.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with conversational dialog systems (voice or chat).
• Experience with production-level NLU/NLP solutions.
• Experience consuming external systems like web services.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, and/or bash scripting.
• Familiarity with GitLab and Jira.
