About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Annotate, generate, and ensure quality assurance of linguistic data, identifying linguistic categories through detailed annotation while strictly adhering to guidelines.
• Work closely with other data linguists to resolve ambiguities and inconsistencies in annotations.
• Conduct in-depth qualitative error trend analysis and develop action plans to enhance data quality.
• Collaborate with linguists, data scientists, and operations managers to drive innovation in processes, automation, and workflows.
• Provide feedback to external annotation teams to improve overall data quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Fluency or native proficiency in one of the required languages. (Italian / Japanese)
• Strong ability to identify linguistic ambiguity, grammatical inaccuracies, and analyze linguistic data.
• Experience with linguistic annotation.
• Familiarity with JSON, YAML, XML, or other text markup formats. (preferred)
• Ability to navigate a Unix terminal and use common command-line tools.

Location: Remote.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $60,000- $70,000 Annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
