Job summary

Atomic Industries is seeking a seasoned geometry software engineer to advance high-performance CAD/CAM tooling. You will design and optimize algorithms for B-rep and spline representations, while integrating with simulation and process planning workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in computational geometry, CAD, CAM, or graphics systems.
• Strong knowledge of B-reps, meshes, point clouds, and surface/spline models.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with OpenCascade, Parasolid, or CGAL.
• Experience building performant geometry manipulation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for B-rep, mesh, and NURBS representations.
• Implement geometric healing, simplification, conversion, and constraint enforcement tools.
• Build high-performance geometry pipelines integrated with simulation and process planning.
• Work with open and proprietary kernels such as OpenCascade and Parasolid.
• Design feature extraction, topology classification, and manufacturability analysis systems.
• Collaborate with product, simulation, and automation teams.
