Job summary

Alloy Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and implement its software stack. You will be an expert C++ developer focused on geometry‑centric software, shaping architecture and delivering end‑to‑end solutions for our Stack Forging process.

You will collaborate across disciplines, work on 3D geometry, motion planning, and production‑grade code, with a startup mindset and a four‑day‑onsite expectation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in computational geometry or adjacent field (CAD, Simulation, Graphics, CAM).
• Strong C++ experience: OO design, patterns, and modern practices.
• 4‑year degree in CS/CE/Math/Physics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years shipping high‑quality code in industry.

Responsibilities

• Co‑design a software suite for end‑to‑end workflows of the Stack Forging process.
• Develop 3D algorithms to improve part accuracy and simplify support removal.
• From requirements to proof‑of‑concepts to production code.
• Develop 2D motion and path planning to improve throughput of Construct machine.
• Collaborate in an agile process and improve code quality.
