Job summary

Atomic Machines is hiring a software-focused DFM engineer to translate device geometry into manufacturable layouts under real process constraints. You will join a cross-functional team spanning AI, Modeling and Simulation, Design, and Process Engineering to encode and validate manufacturing rules.

The role spans early career through Staff levels, with emphasis on rigorous software engineering, geometry processing, and ground-truth validation against fab runs.

Qualifications

• Experience writing code that generates geometry under real manufacturing constraints.
• Knowledge of slicer or toolpath software for additive manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with design automation where geometry is constrained by physics.

Responsibilities

• Develop DFM as a software capability to convert geometry into manufacturable layouts.
• Encode process constraints and validate designs against fab processes.
