Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, biosciences, plant sciences, computer science, statistics, or related field.
  • Experience in computational biology, AI-driven biological data analysis, scalable open-science research infrastructure and training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to contribute to analyses, manuscripts, technical reports, or related outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Advance the NCEMS mission through community-scale synthesis research in molecular and cellular sciences.
  • Contribute to research activities involving computational biology, bioinformatics, and quantitative approaches.
  • Analyze and interpret complex molecular and cellular datasets.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across NCEMS and external partners.
  • Prepare technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Support reproducible and open-science-oriented research workflows and tools.
  • Participate in scientific meetings and project discussions.
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students as appropriate.
