Job summary
SUNY Westchester Community College seeks a knowledgeable, dynamic Adjunct Instructor to teach non-credit CompTIA Tech+ workforce training in the Division of Workforce Development. The successful candidate will deliver engaging instruction to prepare students for the Tech+ certification while building IT foundations in hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.
The role supports workforce development by equipping adult learners with job-relevant knowledge and promoting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with CompTIA Tech+ and/or A+ platforms.
- Ability to engage students through active, student-centered learning.
- Ability to integrate instructional technology in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Teach non-credit CompTIA Tech+ workforce training courses.
- Prepare students for the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam.
- Deliver high-quality instruction covering hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and IT support.
- Support a diverse population of adult and workforce learners.
