Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AAS or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Industry certification in field preferred.
• 36 months work experience in the field required.
• Knowledge and skills in a variety of computer usage and software.
• Ability to teach day, evening or weekend classes at multiple sites around the city.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses following college guidelines and develop syllabi.
• Plan, develop, and use varied teaching methods and materials.
• Evaluate students and provide timely progress feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit reports on time.
• Teach across different times/locations to meet institutional needs.
• Demonstrate competence in using technology in the classroom.
• Advise and support students as part of academic advising responsibilities.
• Participate in professional development and institution/community service.
