Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is hiring a Service Technician to service and repair compressed air systems across the Indianapolis region. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support customers with reliable, safe solutions.

The role emphasizes on-site work, hands-on problem solving, and ongoing training to grow technical expertise. You'll benefit from a company vehicle, extensive training through Air Academy, a four-day work week schedule (10 hours per day), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Monitor sites remotely and respond proactively to issues.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify site repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate site needs.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and order parts needed at sites.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
