PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize specialized equipment and software:
  • To gather and interpret natural gas compressor/engine performance and health data.
  • Conduct vibration and pulsation surveys.
  • Recommend maintenance activities.
• Compile, trend and analyze data to enhance maintenance objectives.
• Evaluate fluid analysis data and make repair/replacement recommendations.
• Apply engine and compressor modeling strategies to establish correct performance and control system accuracy.
• Improve and monitor compressor equipment reliability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree in technical or engineering field.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude, including a working knowledge of internal combustion engines, compressors, and controls and instrumentation.
• Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications including Excel, Work and Outlook.
• Able to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with a minimum of supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology is desirable.
• Prior mechanical/operating experience on various compressor engine types and electronic/pneumatic instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Formal engine and compressor analyzer degrees and/or certifications are a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $60,500 – $85,000.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors.
