Position: IT Security Technician/Analyst (cybersecurity)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Position Summary:

Supports day-to-day administration of various security technologies. Configures, installs, monitors, and evaluates security systems to support information systems. Responsible for implementing and supporting security solutions on networks, systems, hardware, and software applications. Proactively assesses and provides solutions for potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and gaps.

Requires solid knowledge of information security principles, practices, protocols, and standards. Experience with intrusion detection systems, firewalls, internet security practices, encryption, data loss prevention, patch management, anti-virus, anti-spam, and secure communications. Familiarity with security architecture and software security practices.

Typically requires 3-5 years of experience; a 4-year degree is preferred.
