Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Detail-oriented Compression Molding Technician for a first shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) on a 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu). Pay ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour DOE, with overtime and a quarterly bonus opportunity.

The role involves running and monitoring presses, loading materials, and ensuring quality while maintaining 5S standards. Responsibilities include setup of mold tooling per work orders, operation of molding presses and related equipment, inspection of finished

• Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing environment molding plastics.
• Reading blueprints preferred.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

COMPRESSION MOLDING TECHNICIAN, 4/10 SCHEDULED MONDAY-THURSDAY 1st SHIFT 6:00AM-4:30PM, $22.00-$32.00 PER HOUR DOE. Plus OVERTIME & Quarterly Bonus

Detail-oriented Compression Molding Operator to run and monitor compression molding presses that produce resin billets and sheets to precise specifications. This role is responsible for setting up all required mold tooling and materials per work order instructions, operating molding presses, tool handling equipment, and forklifts to perform job duties, and running production orders safely while maintaining product quality. You'll also be responsible for loading materials, monitoring the molding cycle, inspecting finished parts for quality, and maintaining 5S standards before, during, and at the end of each shift.

Is this job for you ?

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 2+ year experience in Manufacturing Environment Molding Plastic Powers, reading blue prints is Preferred.
Good basic math skills, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift operation skills. Basic computer experience is required.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $22.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/a quarterly bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 8% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position is $45,760 to $73,216 per year . Local bonus plan payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.
