Saint-Gobain is hiring a Punch Press Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) in Garden Grove, CA. The role involves setting up and operating punch press machines to fabricate spring stock per drawings, loading materials, and monitoring tool wear to ensure quality and safety.

Overtime and quarterly bonuses are available based on performance. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

PUNCH PRESS OPERATOR, 4/10 SCHEDULED MONDAY-THURSDAY 1st SHIFT 6:00AM-4:30PM, $22.00-$32.00 PER HOUR DOE. Plus OVERTIME & Quarterly Bonus

The Punch Press Operator– sets up and operates machines to fabricate spring stock to work order/drawing requirements in a safety conscious and quality-focused manner. The role is accountable to load raw material, and setup tooling dies in the machine, cycle the press and detect malfunctions in machine equipment, such as worn or damaged cutting tools including reviewing the die and its components, the die is a critical tool for the punch press operator. The position runs production work orders, communicates with the tooling team and co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Is this job for you ?

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1+ year experience in Manufacturing Environment as Punch Press Operator, reading blue prints is Preferred.
Good basic math skills, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic computer experience is required.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $22.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/a quarterly bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 8% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position is $45,760 to $73,216 per year . Local bonus plan payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.
