Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Compression and LTA Product Specialist to serve as the subject-matter expert on compression garments and LTA-covered products. You will support sales, educate referral sources and patients, and keep teams current on coverage guidelines to ensure patients receive products promptly.

You will process orders efficiently, own patient communications, and stay updated on Medicare/insurance criteria for compression supplies. Travel for client visits and events may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in DME sales, medical device sales, or healthcare product roles.
• Prior Brightree experience is a plus.
• Comfort learning and explaining insurance/Medicare billing processes, particularly DMEPOS.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to travel for client visits, trade shows, and training.
• Prior experience with compression therapy or lymphedema products.
• Familiarity with the Lymphedema Treatment Act and Medicare coverage impact.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources such as physicians and DME providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to expert on compression garments and LTA-covered products for internal teams and external partners.
• Educate referral sources and patients on product options and LTA coverage guidelines.
• Support the sales team with product demonstrations, training, and technical guidance.
• Stay current on LTA policy updates, HCPCS codes, and Medicare coverage criteria.
• Assist patients and providers with product selection based on clinical needs.
• Partner with billing and reimbursement to support documentation and claims.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, distributors, and manufacturers.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and educational events.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape in compression therapy.
• Share market and customer feedback with product and marketing teams.
