Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks an assembly technician to build and modify compressor packages, blowers and related products. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair units, train for assembly, and cross-train to other lines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to 6S standards, OSHA safety practices, and accurate reporting of BOM issues. Overtime may be required to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of technical training or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma with some technical training in mechanical and/or electrical systems; Forklift certification required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently with good organizational and communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble compressed air products and packages per instructions.
• Perform general assembly and modifications of compressor packages and related products.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair products after assembly.
• Train for assembly and cross-train to other lines.
• Maintain 6S standards and perform safety and quality documentation.
• Report BOM issues and use NCR forms.
