Swagel Wootton Eye Institute in the Phoenix East Valley seeks an experienced Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our growing team. We value a cataract surgeon proficient in modern techniques and premium intraocular lens technologies.

You would perform comprehensive consults and deliver high-quality cataract and refractive surgical care, collaborating with optometrists, technicians, and surgical counselors to provide a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Ophthalmology or board-eligible.
• 2–5+ years of cataract surgery experience.
• Proficiency with premium intraocular lens technology and refractive techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation Model:

Swagel Wootton Eye Institute offers a 12-month guaranteed compensation draw, providing financial stability during the first year of practice. After 12 months, physicians transition to a productivity-based compensation model that adjusts and increases throughout the year based on year-to-date (YTD) net collections. This structure rewards performance and growth while maintaining transparency and fairness.
