Job summary

Gold Eagle Enterprise in Chicago, IL 60632 is seeking a hands-on Compounding Team Lead to drive production excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will lead the Compounding Department, ensure safe, accurate batching, and mentor a growing team across shifts.

This role requires 5+ years in chemical compounding or related production, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules. OSHA/FDA quality standards compliance and inventory accuracy are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities of the Compounding Department.
  • Support production schedules by ensuring products are compounded accurately, safely, and efficiently.
  • Assign work, monitor workflows, and provide guidance to team members throughout each shift.
  • Verify raw materials, lot numbers, and quantities before production.
  • Ensure batch records and production documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members on procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, FDA, and company quality standards.
  • Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate as a member of the internal HazMat Team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
