Job summary

PLZ Corp in Coal City, IL is seeking a skilled batch production associate to combine chemicals and solvents per work orders and ensure safety compliance. The role includes preparing batches, maintaining accurate batch documentation, and using SAP for production support.

The candidate should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with some chemical handling experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Use basic knowledge of chemical reactions to produce good quality batches and/or address errors as needed.
• Read, understand & follow all batching instructions and SOPs, ensuring all batch sheets are completed properly.
• Safely operate all required equipment for batch production.
• Utilize SAP & other computer programs, as required, to assist with batch production.
• Assist with raw chemical inventory as requested or required.
• Adhere to all safety protocol.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for combining chemicals and /or solvents in quantities prescribed by the work order to make quality product batches, adhering to all safety protocols. This position may also be responsible for completing basic inventory functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read & follow procedures to create batches according to each order’s specifications and timelines
• Read & follow procedures regarding flush procedures and disposal
• Accurately & completely fill out all required paperwork, including batch sheets

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay for this position ranges from $20.00 per hour up to $24.57 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
