Job summary

Visual Pak Companies in Illinois seeks a Compounding Prep Associate to operate pumps, transfer materials, and maintain tanks in a busy production setting.

You will load/unload chemicals, monitor instruments, and perform cleaning and sanitation while recording data and supporting lab analyses. A HS diploma and 1+ year related experience are required; ERP experience is a plus, and Spanish language skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma (or GED) with experience is required.
• Experience with valves, piping, pumps, and processing equipment.
• Experience with an ERP system in manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, prioritization, organization.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps to transfer liquids, semi-solids, gases, or powders between tanks.
• Safely load/unload and transfer chemicals from rail cars, tankers, totes, and drums.
• Monitor gauges and adjust valves to regulate flow and pressure.
• Maintain pumps and lines, replace filters and gaskets, and tighten connections.
• Record temperatures, quantities, and levels; sample rinse water and materials for lab analysis.
• Keep tanks and equipment clean and sanitized per SOPs; follow 5s and safety policies.
• Coordinate with Compounding Supervisor on directives; may train to operate forklift.
