Job summary

Visual Pak Companies in Illinois is seeking a Compounding Associate to blend and transfer heated and emulsified batches, ensuring strict adherence to GMPs and SOPs. You will weigh raw materials, monitor tanks, and collect samples while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience blending and mixing in manufacturing, plus strong math skills and the ability to train new team members. Excellent attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in relevant topic preferred.
  • 3–5 years blending and mixing raw materials in a manufacturing setting.
  • Basic mathematical skills and metric system experience.
  • Experience with GMPs, SOPs and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Blend and transfer heated, cooled and emulsified batches per instructions.
  • Weigh out specified materials using manual scales and formulas.
  • Monitor temperature, gauges, pumps, and flow rates; adjust equipment as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanks per SOPs.
  • Assist in training new compounding associates.

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
