Job summary

Option Care Health in Omaha, NE is seeking a Compounding Technician I to work in a clean room, under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, to ensure safe, accurate compounding operations.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists with preparation, basic calculations, labeling, and maintaining logs; requires a HS diploma and 1 year of technician experience, and state licensure where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications according to policies and procedures.
• Prepares medications and performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications and maintains logs.
