Job summary

Big Country Dermatology Pharmacy seeks a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation of custom, high-quality compounded formulations. Your precision ensures accurate batches and smooth workflows in a clean lab.

You will balance accuracy with productivity, communicate effectively with pharmacists and teammates, and help manage inventory and workflows to meet prescription demands while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacy Technician license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of compounding experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently perform assigned compounding pharmacy technician responsibilities.
• Ability to complete bulk dispensing assignments accurately and on time.
• Ability to prepare and complete assigned compounded medication batches.
• Ability to complete assigned one-off compounded prescriptions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to prescription accuracy.
• Ability to balance accuracy and productivity in a compounding pharmacy environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow established pharmacy procedures, workflows, and compounding processes.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members.
• Ability to meet established compounding productivity and workflow expectations.
