Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists in compounding and dispensing medications in a clean room environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, basic math, and adherence to state regulations.

You will prepare medications, label properly, and help manage medication-related incidents, while maintaining organized records and ensuring safety in the compounding area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered as required by the state.
• Customer service experience with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state standards.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for dosages.
• Label and package medications accurately.
• Participate in reporting medication incidents.
