Job summary
Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists in compounding and dispensing medications in a clean room environment. You will perform calculations, label medications, and help maintain accurate records, following state regulations and company policies.
The role emphasizes customer service to internal and external stakeholders, basic math, and strong organizational skills, with a requirement for a High School Diploma or GED and state licensure if applicable.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Pharmacy technician experience and licensure/registration as required by state.
- Strong customer service and basic math skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
- Accurately label and package medications.
- Maintain clean room and assist with equipment/temperature logs.
- Support with medication incident reporting and documentation.
