Job summary
Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist to join a Fortune-recognized health and wellness organization with a Best Workplace in Health Care. The role requires non-sterile compounding experience, AZ license, and 2+ years of pharmacist practice.
Shifts are 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 5:30 PM–4:00 AM. The position offers competitive salary, stock options, and comprehensive benefits including Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with matching.
Qualifications
- Math skills and accuracy in calculations.
- Good command of English for patient counseling and documentation.
- Familiarity with Windows-based systems and pharmacy software.
- Multi-state licensure is preferred for broader practice.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
- Perform and document compounding and quality checks
- Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
- Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
- Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
- Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters
