Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Fountain Hills, AZ to supervise technicians, perform compounding, and ensure regulatory compliance, quality checks, and patient counseling. The role emphasizes strict USP adherence and accurate documentation.

The position requires an AZ pharmacist license, 2+ years of experience in compounding, strong math skills, and multi-state licensure is preferred. Shifts are from 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 5:30 PM–4:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 800, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
