Quality Talent Group is recruiting a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to oversee technicians and perform accurate non-sterile compounding with thorough documentation. You will verify formulas, ensure correct beyond-use dating, and manage QA initiatives to uphold USP and regulatory standards.

The role requires an active Arizona Pharmacist License, 2+ years’ experience, and knowledge of USP <795>/<800> guidelines, with strong math skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Multistate licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Arizona Pharmacist License active.
• 2+ years pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
