Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to supervise technicians and perform compounding and quality checks within a regulated setting. The role requires licensure in Arizona, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with USP guidelines.

Strong math skills and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are also required. Responsibilities include patient counseling, dispensing, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives while ensuring compliance with all federal and state

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Doctorate or PharmD with active licensure in Arizona.
  • 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
  • Non-sterile compounding experience.
  • Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to undergo respirator fit testing and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
  • Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
  • Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
  • Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
  • Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
