Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to oversee pharmacy technicians, perform compounding, and ensure compliance with USP, BOP, and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy required; active license in Arizona.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and current pharmacy regulations.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations.
• Must be able to pass respirator fit testing.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; good manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters
