Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to join a health-focused team committed to clinical excellence. The role requires an active Arizona Pharmacist license and 2+ years of pharmacy experience, including non-sterile compounding and compliance with USP regulations.

You will supervise technicians, perform and document compounding checks, counsel patients, and ensure regulatory adherence across state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with a Doctorate or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and an active AZ license.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding and knowledge of USP <795> and <800> regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.

Education

Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy

Active Arizona Pharmacist License

2+ years of pharmacist experience

Non-sterile compounding experience

Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations

Strong math skills

Ability to undergo respirator fit testing

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Proficiency in English

Multi-state licensure preferred
