Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona with 2+ years of pharmacist experience to supervise technicians, perform compounding and quality checks, and ensure compliance with USP and state/federal regulations.

The role requires non-sterile compounding experience, a valid Arizona pharmacist license, strong math skills, and the ability to counsel patients and perform DUIs. Multistate licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License.
  • 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
  • Non-sterile compounding experience.
  • Knowledge of USP <795>, <800> and pharmacy regulations.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
  • Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
  • Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
  • Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
  • Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
  • Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.

Skills

Active Arizona Pharmacist License
2+ years of pharmacist experience
Knowledge of USP <795>, <800> and regs
Strong math skills
English & Windows proficiency
Ability to undergo respirator fit test
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Multi-state licensure preferred

Education
