Red Rock Pharmacy, a fast-growing compounding pharmacy in St. George, Utah, seeks Pharmacists for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles. Primary duties include compounding, sterile and non-sterile preparations, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, with clinical consultation and patient communication.»

The role requires an active Utah pharmacist license, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a professional, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Active Utah pharmacist license in good standing.
• Previous compounding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with USP <795>, USP <797>, and USP <800> preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Compounding & Medication Preparation: Prepare, compound, and formulate customized medications based on patient prescriptions.
• Sterile & Non-Sterile Compounding: Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, including injections and ophthalmic preparations.
• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks, ingredient verification, and final product inspections.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compounding activities comply with USP standards and FDA/DEA requirements.
• Clinical Consultation: Collaborate with prescribers to develop therapies and provide professional consultation.
• Patient Communication: Communicate with patients and providers about prescriptions and treatment options.
• Technician Supervision: Supervise pharmacy technicians in compounding and operations.
• Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain compounding records and logs per policy.
