Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Fort McDowell, AZ to join a prominent health and wellness organization recognized for Best Workplace awards. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate compounding, perform quality checks, counsel patients, and maintain regulatory compliance across USP and state/federal standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and AZ license required.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience and knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience
• Non-sterile compounding experience
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations
• Strong math skills
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems
• Multi-state licensure preferred
