Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites Usa, Inc. in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor II to lead a multi-shift production team, keep lines running, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will review schedules, coordinate with supervisors, mentor staff, and troubleshoot equipment.

The role requires 5+ years in composites or production, MS Dynamics AX experience, and a minimum high school diploma (associates preferred). Shift: 06:00 am - 2:30 PM with overtime.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred, at a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in composites or production; 7+ years preferred.
• 3+ years of trainer experience required; 5+ years supervisor experience preferred.
• Must have experience in a computerized MRP system, MS Dynamics AX strongly preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to coach/train operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department with multiple production lines and ensure correct pass downs/work orders and raw materials.
• Review production schedules to meet deadlines while adhering to budget, safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor Production Technicians; coordinate with leads and trainers for staff development.
• Back up operator duties as needed and troubleshoot equipment with maintenance.
